My academic background in social sciences, communication disorders, audiology, and intraoperative neuromonitoring has shaped me into the well-rounded clinician that I am proud to be today. My clinical experience includes: speech-language therapy as an undergraduate student clinician from 2014-2015 with William Paterson University, hearing and balance diagnosis and management as a graduate clinician from 2015-2017 with Bloomsburg University, and intraoperative neuromonitoring as a student surgical neurophysiologist with SpecialtyCare University from 2017-2019.I became certified in Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring in January of 2019. I received my doctorate in Audiology from the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in May of 2019. I am proudly affiliated with Lehigh Valley Health Network as an Allied Health Provider from March of 2019 to present.My personal procedure experience includes multimodality monitoring for: complex spinal decompression and instrumented fusions, extramedullary tumor resections, carotid endarterectomies/transcarotid artery revascularization, thoracic endovascular aortic repair, vascular bypass procedures, brachial plexus procedures, thyroid and parathyroidectomy, parotidectomy and radical neck dissection, tympanomastoidectomies, middle ear reconstructive procedures, cochlear implantations, craniotomy for aneurysm clipping and craniotomy with cortical mapping for tumor resection. I am proficient in the interpretation of transcranial motor evoked potentials (tcMEPs), somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEPs), spontaneous and triggered electromyography (sp/trEMG), brainstem auditory evoked responses (BAERs), laryngeal adductor reflexes (LARs), electroencephalography (EEG), audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions. I enjoy the energy of the operating room, providing hands-on patient care, and supporting the surgical staff. My favorite days are ones where I am able to facilitate operations within my home accounts, practice adaptability to unexpected changes, and provide support my colleagues. I have experienced a range of clinical services, settings, and cultures, and have displayed extreme flexibility over my years of experience in this complex, evolving role. 🫶🏻🧠🔩⚡️🫀👂🏻
