I am dedicated to the encouragement of student success through the successful integration of getting to know my students in terms of readiness, interest, and learning profile, and striving to understand how students feel about themselves and what makes each of them feel successful or discouraged. I am a firm believer in active learning, and I will try to maintain a very lively and interactive classroom. I will address the wide range of skills and abilities of my students. I will use differentiated instruction as an approach whereby I will adjust my curriculum and instruction to maximize the learning of all students: average learners, English language learners, struggling students, students with learning disabilities, and gifted and talented students.
