A public health specialist by training, a teacher by passion with a vision to reduce the workload on the healthcare system through effective use of technology for a better today and tomorrow. After graduating in community medicine, I wanted to work closely with the country's health system. I am working as Scientist B at ICMR National Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai, India. The position allows me to build what I have always dreamt about. I work on noncommunicable diseases, focusing on hypertension and chronic kidney diseases of unknown origin. I also work on digital health solutions and their implementation and evaluation. I am a faculty and mentor in the India Field Epidemiology Training Program (India – FETP) at ICMR NIE.
