Senior Research Investigator and Project Manager for South Asia Network for Chronic Diseases in collaboration with Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and London School of Hygine and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

The key accountabilities:• Provide medical and academic expertise for new and existing George Clinical studies• Support Endpoint Adjudication and other relevant Committees where required• Provide medical input to safety and endpoints documents and to project plans and documents as required • Represent George Clinical and its values with academic colleagues, commercial customers, vendors, government and regulatory bodies as requested• Make all reasonable efforts to ensure effective working relationships between George Clinical and The George Institute• Participate in team meetings and activities as required• Ensure activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standardsProject development, initiation and support• Provide clinical input into the development and/or review of study protocols, procedure manuals, data collection tools and data quality plans Review query reports generated from project databases to identify errors and inconsistencies, as outlined in the medical monitoring plan• Provide ongoing, continuous support to the sites by taking and answering queries related to medical issues around patient eligibility, recruitment, treatment and management and adverse events etc. as outlined in the scope of the medical monitoring planEndpoint adjudication • Liaise with project teams, data management, safety team, investigators, site staff, sponsors and endpoint adjudicators as needed• Provide clinical input into development of endpoint adjudication manuals, plans, charters, tracking tools and associated documentation• Provide medical review and input to endpoint packages as required• Attend Endpoint Adjudication Committee meetings • Provide medical advice and guidance for George Clinical Safety Associates and Safety Assistants• Research and Training activities• Develop and provide protocol training from a medical perspective for project investigators and CRAs for the assigned projects, as required

Developed inter sectoral collaboration and health systems strengthening for HIV/AIDS prevention in Bangladesh

Provided technical assistance for developing human resources for health in the developing countries, participated in the 1st Global Forum for Human Resources for Health with Global Health Workforce Alliance at Kampala, Uganda, Facilitated Inter Agency Working Group meeting at Cairo, Egypt and Global Forum on Injury Prevention in Brazil.

Formulation of project proposals for collaborative inter-country exchange, project design, implement, monitoring and evaluation and prepare technical report; developing and strengthening partnerships and networking with UN, NGOs,training and research institutes at the Regional and International levels; provide technical assistance and capacity building to member country Governments; assist in organizing inter-country meetings/ workshops and coordinate research activities; financial management of designated projects and represent PPD at the national and international levels.

Responsible for leading the UNDP mobile medical team and community health program at the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Developed joint collaboration with UN agencies, Government, NGOs and stakeholders.

Acted as the project coordinator for the unmet obstetric needs and maternal health quality improvement project with the Reproductive Health Unit.

Represent the NIH funded project of Texas Tech University in Bangladesh.

Manage patients in the Department of Internal Medicine and Cardiology and Critical Care Unit (CCU), attend outpatient department, evaluate inpatient cases, provide routine follow up of patients and assist in Cath Lab and other clinical procedures.
