Mother and Child Tracking System (MCTS) is a centralized web based application for improving delivery of health care services to pregnant women and children up to five years of age through name based tracking of each beneficiary and monitoring service delivery. It has been declared as a Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) in July 2011.Key Functions Performed:• Critically reviewed and monitored maternal and child health through various reports from existing MCTS portal• Thoroughly engaged with the process of Program Implementation Plan (PIP’s) reviews, ROP development (includes budgeting), NPCC meetings, PIP follow-up, state queries• Prepared training modules, training manual, training plans, guidelines of training quality assurance, monitoring of training, and innovation in training, development of resource material for all health cadres• Key Resource person at Ministry of Health & Family Welfare involved in exhaustive analysis and management of Aadhaar Enabled JSY payment through CPSMS, monitoring all the pilot districts at national level• Assisted the PMU team at MOHFW for various static, dynamic and Administrative reports for the upcoming RCH portal to be launched in July 2014• Critically reviewed of the RCH application and provided necessary inputs in close coordination with stakeholders and states• Coordinated and conducted trainings to implement updated MCTS portals, capacity building at various levels in state as a hand holding exercise• Key Resource person in coordinating and facilitating national level conferences, workshops & seminars for MMP Cell, MoHFW• Reviewed strengths and weaknesses of different maternal and child health tracking indicators at different tiers of the health care delivery• Assisted in nationwide rollout of Integrated RCH register and USSD application for ANM’s• Reviewed the status of MCTS and allied initiatives
