Reporting directly to the presidents of the Atlanta University Center (AUC) Consortium’s member institutions -- Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Spelman College -- oversee, direct, and manage shared resources and programs.Collaborate with the presidents, provosts, chief financial officers, chief student affairs officers and other senior-level executives from four campuses to identify academic and administrative areas that could be coordinated jointly. Serve as liaison between the Council of Presidents and other academic and administrative councils of member institutions. Promote synergy among the Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, and Academic Affairs departments of member campuses to establish a unified strategy for delivering student services. Recommend annual budget for Board approval and ensure that the Consortium’s finances are audited annually. Provide strategic direction for a broad range of academic and career-oriented recruitment activities for AUC Consortium students and alumni. Provide leadership and vision for the center-wide Dual Degree Engineering Program by providing STEM majors a lab-based learning community, scholarships, research opportunities, internships, and employment; oversee transfer process and articulation agreements with 13 engineering school partners; manage over $2 million in scholarships from over 300 corporate donors.Design and implement new programs and services that fulfill the shared civic engagement, economic development and community development priorities of member institutions and stakeholders.Provide innovative community-oriented learning opportunities that enrich individuals, strengthen the workforce and support community revitalization.Serve as a liaison to community, public, private, and political agencies on issues of concern to member institutions.

• Serve as the chief student affairs officer, with responsibility for creating and supporting an environment that supports the institution's mission and strategic initiatives, promotes the growth and development of students and facilitates the process of learning. • Provide dynamic leadership in the planning, implementation, management and evaluation of a diverse array of student services and programs including: Housing and Residence Life, Counseling Services, Disability Services, Health Services, International and Commuter Student Programs, Student Activities, Intercollegiate Athletics, Religious/ Spiritual Life, Public Safety, Dining Services and Judicial Services.• Oversee program development, financial management of $6.5 million budget and personnel administration for all student affairs functions.• Work collaboratively in partnership with the faculty to ensure an integrated, systematic approach to student development and success.• Serve as the focal point for student concerns, initiating and managing policies, programs and responses related to a broad range of student issues.• Promote an overall campus climate that fosters civility, mutual respect and high academic, personal, and social standards
