I am passionate about health transformation and empowerment. My interest in personalized and holistic medicine began as a medical student where I realized that viewing health from a ‘biological and disease-only' lens was not sufficient to create optimal wellness and that working with symptoms was just one component of truly creating a new health narrative.My journey into functional medicine began some 14 years ago with an insatiable quest for information about how our individually unique biochemistry, hormonal matrix, genetic, environmental and psycho-social elements interact to influence health and disease.Over the years, I have developed a particular niche interest in Hormonal Health and devote much of my time exploring hormonal challenges/ imbalances with patients, how these hormonal imbalances can affect other areas of health and what we can do about them.I use integrative strategies that involve a combination of lifestyle, hormonal, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical management tools.I am passionate about sharing knowledge and lecture/train other health care professionals (both locally and abroad) as well as run workshops for patients with the view that we can all re-create our experience of health, our own ‘health stories’ with a combination of knowledge, strategy and encouragement from the right team of people.
