Simon is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. In 2019, he was elected to Full Membership of the Division of Occupational Psychology. He is also a Chartered Scientist with the Science Council, Certified Principal Business Psychologist with the Association for Business Psychology, published author, and PhD graduate. Simon is a graduate of the Division of Occupational Psychology's Leadership Development Programme. Simon is in the final stages of the Qualification in Occupational Psychology (Stage 2) and is predicted to finish in 2023.One of Simon's fields of interest lies in non-traditional working arrangements, most notably the employment of temporary agency workers - an area in which Simon has completed a PhD, published a book, conducted further research, and presented findings at national and international conferences. You will find him on the Register of Qualifications in Test Use (RQTU) and the BPS Directory of Chartered Psychologists. In recent years, Simon has worked extensively in the realm of personality psychometrics, with specific focus on research, development, and validation.In addition to his primary employment, Simon has various external roles and responsibilities relevant to occupational psychology. He has volunteered extensively for the BPS Division of Occupational Psychology's Annual Conference, initially as Lead for Reviews and Submissions (2016-2019) and then as Co-Chair (2019-2021). He has also volunteered as Lead for Marketing and Communications with the European Association of Work and Organisational Psychology Congress (2020-2023). He has provided guest lectures and/or talks at the University of Gloucestershire, University of Hertfordshire, Bath Spa University, University of West England, and Goldsmith's University. He is also the Co-Founder of Psychology At Work.Blog where helps manage the 'Emerging Occ Psychs' Initiative.
