Dr. Saurabh Mani Tripathi received his B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from G.L.A. Institute of Technology and Management, Mathura, India; his M.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics and Drives from M.M.M. Engineering College, Gorakhpur, India; and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, India. He is currently an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur, India.Dr. Tripathi received the prestigious “IEI Young Engineers Award (2018–2019)” from The Institution of Engineers, India, and the “Best Teachers Award 2020” from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. He holds an HIL Specialist Certification from Typhoon HIL Inc., Switzerland. At the age of 23, he authored his first book, *A Course in Modern Control Systems* (Laxmi Publications, New Delhi). He has since authored two more books: *Analysis of Basic Systems* (Laxmi Publications, New Delhi) and *Modern Control Systems: An Introduction* (Jones & Bartlett Learning, USA). Additionally, he has served as an editor for several books.Dr. Tripathi has published over 50 research papers in reputed international journals and various national and international conferences. He serves as a reviewer for several internationally renowned research journals. His research interests include renewable energy systems, electrical drives, real-time simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop testing. He is an Advisory Board Member (Engineering) for Heliyon, a Cell Press journal. Dr. Tripathi is a member of several professional societies, including the Institution of Engineers (India), International Association of Engineers, and World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology. He is also a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education.
