I have worked in the audio post-production world for over twenty years, both in Sydney and New York. I have extensive experience setting up and running sound departments, both in full -time roles and in a freelance capacity, as well as on-hand experience creating sound design, music editing, recording, and mixing for broadcast (OP59) in film, TV, and TV commercials. I also have experience and knowledge in the construction of acoustic treatments and the application of therein. I arrived back in Sydney in 2019 after living and working in New York for the previous eleven years, where I had the opportunity to work on some wonderful, award-winning projects such as Baz Lurhmann's Netflix series “The Get Down” - where I worked as a music editor – and Amazon's radio podcast series “Resistance Radio”, a podcast spinoff from the popular tv series “The Man In The High Castle, where I was the recording/mix engineer, sound designer and mastering engineer. Since arriving back in Australia I've had further great opportunities working on a Disney TV series Reef Break, Mr Inbetween, and a feature-length documentary called Run, about South Sudanese refugees representing the Refugee Olympic team at the upcoming Olympics. In my current role at Heckler Sound I am overseeing projects/campaigns such as Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) - the mural for which exists at Harmony Park in Surry Hills (as of today, April 22nd).I have very good interpersonal skills, and am very comfortable in creating a warm, thriving environment for all staff to allow for the best execution of creative and/or technical endeavors, and I'm well equipped to face any creative challenge in a manner befitting both general standard practices, as well as my own standards set during my professional career. I have extensive experience running client-attended sessions for recording, sound design, broadcast mixing, mastering and creative direction. I excel at working under pressure and have many years of experience working to a deadline.
