 Certified ACLS provider Responsible for providing anesthesia for various operative and non-operative procedures such as general surgery, laparoscopy including bariatric surgeries; urological procedures such as TURP, laparoscopic nephrectomies, ureteric re-implantation, PCNL, ureteroscopies, etc; paediatric surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology; orthopaedic surgery including trauma surgeries, joint replacements & arthroscopies and spine surgeries; head & neck and ENT; dental surgeries; gastroenterology inclusive of all types of endoscopic procedures; plastic and cosmetic surgeries [liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, gynecomastia correction, etc.], Neurosurgery including spine surgeries, craniotomies and V-P Shunt creation, and radiology services including MRI. Postoperative patient care including pain management in the form of nerve / plexus block analgesia [including those in pediatric patients] and epidural analgesia. Epidural analgesia for painless labour. Preoperative assessment and optimization of patients scheduled for elective and emergency surgeries.

 “OPERATION THEATRES” : Responsible for providing anesthesia for patients posted for elective surgeries including urology, general surgery, laparoscopic surgery including bariatric surgery, orthopaedics including joint replacements, E.N.T, ophthalmology, OBG, Neurosurgery including V-P Shunt creation and day-case surgeries in the above-mentioned specialities along with vascular surgery, dental surgery (pediatric and adult) & gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures. “P.A.C.U., RADIOLOGY SUITES, & PAIN”: (1)Responsible for ensuring safety and attending to the immediate postoperative complaints of all patients in the post-anaesthesia care unit [P.A.C.U./recovery room].(2)Independent charge in the provision of anaesthesia for patients requiring radiological investigations [MRI, CT, etc.] and also in the interventional radiology suite.(3)Performance of pain rounds in the wards for those patients who are on follow-up for the management of acute or chronic pain, and also for addressing new referrals for pain management. “ON-CALL” DUTY: (1)Responsible for attending all calls from inpatient rooms, high-dependency units and Medical & Surgical Intensive Care units towards the preoperative evaluation of patients posted for emergency and elective surgeries, as well as review of patients evaluated earlier. (2)Attending all crash calls with prime focus on airway management.(3)Anesthetic management for all emergency surgeries including high risk cases needing invasive monitoring.(4)Provision of labour analgesia for painless delivery. (5)Responsible for the transport of critically ill patients within hospital as requested and deemed necessary by the treating team.(6)Responsible for the transport of critically ill patients to a higher centre/airport for further management. “PRE-ANAESTHESIA CLINIC”: Performance of preoperative anesthesia evaluation for patients in the anaesthesia out-patient clinic. Certified ACLS provider
