Manage clinical staff for the schools for the Deaf, school for the Blind, and schools for students with severe learning disabilities throughout Ontario. Clinical staff includes psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, a speech and language pathologist, behavioural consultants, and a case management consultant. Continue to provide direct clinical services as needed for two campuses. Consult with upper management regarding mental health needs and services at all schools.

Perform psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students; ages ranging from preschool through high school, includes classrooms focused on autism and behaviour challenges. Provide individual and family therapy for students. Design and provide presentations and workshops for staff. Lead and participate in committees regarding policies, admissions, and clinical services. Provide individual and family therapy for Deaf and hearing students as well as members of the larger DC Deaf community. Supervise graduate student trainees. Co-facilitate social skills group for children from ages 12-14, and coping skills group for children from ages 8-10. Co-facilitate Intensive Outpatient Program for adolescents from ages 13-18. Coordinate services for clients and parents. Consult with collateral individuals involved in clients’ therapy, including parents and other professionals. Teach undergraduate Social Psychology course. Provide feedback to students through papers, grading tests, and discussion. Assist students with academic challenges.

Conduct clinical interviews and perform psychodiagnostic testing with adults and adolescents that seek services from the Office of Rehabilitation Services (ORS) of Illinois. Score test results, interpret data, and write reports based on testing. One to two full batteries per week with supervision.
