Appointed to lead 1,200-person workforce in 24 countries across three organizations, collectively referred to as Oracle Applications Labs: 1) Applications Development IT: Driving rapid idea-to-product cycle time with operational accountability for internal deployment and usage of ERP, CRM, and BI tools. 2) Global Sales Engineering Group: Creating and delivering applications and technology sales demo scripts, systems, and collateral with development across Fusion Applications, E-Business Suite, Peoplesoft, Siebel, Hyperiod, Agile, and a host of other Oracle applications and technologies. 3) Applications UX Labs: R&D group delivering fresh and innovative user experiences across all Oracle applications areas. EARLY POSITION:Group Vice President (2009 to 2012) Rejoined Oracle to lead integration of the company’s $5.6 billion Sun Microsystems acquisition. Appointed by CEO and President / CFO to manage $110 million project declared as “Oracle’s most important priority.” Drove $1.5 billion in operational profit improvement, delivered integration on time and under budget, and managed subsequent cloud systems integrations including RightNow, Taleo, and others.

Built and led go-to-market strategy for world’s first Ruby on Rails enterprise application delivered via Amazon AWS, directing 30-member workforce across sales and marketing, product development, and customer success for first-ever cloud procurement system.

As VICE PRESIDENT, CRM APPLICATIONS (2005): Led 800-person CRM applications group—post $10.3 billion Peoplesoft acquisition and prior to $5.6 billion Siebel acquisition. As VICE PRESIDENT, PROCUREMENT APPLICATIONS (2003-2005), Senior Director (2001-2003), and Director (1999-2001):Directed $200 million, 200-person procurement applications group, achieving 45% license growth (FY05) in 6% growth market. Set new investment areas and led product positioning. Spoke on behalf of Oracle to analysts and customers.
