• Planned, managed and executed three high-end luxury construction projects at the exclusive Kukio Resort. Two projects were new construction, design-build with high-end finishes and fixtures. Third project was a major renovation, design-build located in a Kukio Cottages. o House #1 was a spec home, 6,800 sqft with construction cost at $9M. Home was sold for $25M o House #2 was client’s personal residence, 6,700 sqft with construction cost at $7M. o House #3 was a major renovation in the Kukio Cottages, a micro-community within the Kukio development with accessibility challenges. 5,800 sqft with construction cost at $9M• Provided initial project planning for 3 residential renovation projects with a total value at $18M • Directly responsible for all aspects of the build, from preconstruction estimates and budgeting, contracts and subcontractor buy-outs, design coordination with architects, engineers and owners, change management and construction scheduling to inspections, punchlist, furnishing and turnover.

Program Manager • Directly managed the first contract vehicle of its kind with NAVFAC Hawaii. Contract was a direct award contract used to support high priority construction projects. Utilized full capacity of the $4M IDIQ with the execution 15 projects. • Completely responsible cradle to grave for the entire IDIQ, from client engagement, joint project scoping, estimating and subcontracting, proposal writing and contracting with client, to execution and project closeout. • Scope of projects varied from immediately rectifying OHSA violations, emergency structural repairs for mission critical facilities, life health and safety upgrades to building code compliance to office renovation and finish work. Project Manager• Captured, managed and executed numerous special construction projects with various Federal and State clients. Directly responsible for design review and coordination with client and design team, subcontracting and procurement of various systems suppliers, project scheduling, estimating, cost and change management to onsite construction execution as Quality Control Manager. Project highlights include: o Design-build construction project for USINDOPACOM valued at $7.7M. The project renovated an existing facility into a certified Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) that complies with DoD physical and electronic security requirements. Scope included upgraded power distribution and mechanical cooling for a new server room and equipment, upgraded telecom infrastructure, structural modifications, architectural upgrades along with furniture and high-end finishes. o A Design-build energy conservation project on Kaho’olawe for the State of Hawaii valued at $2.3M. Project scope included the installation of a 100 KW photovoltaic system with battery storage, a 60 KW diesel generator for backup power, RO portable water plant and structural and architectural modifications to the existing 1950’s era building to be more energy and thermal efficient.

• First line supervisor for a construction office of 20 construction managers, contracting officers and construction quality assurance personnel for Pearl Harbor and its nuclear capable shipyard.• Team successfully executed 60 construction contracts valued at over $200M including Hawaii’s first two LEED Platinum facilities, highest standard for energy efficiency and sustainable construction.• Responsible for acquisition and contract planning, project assignments and resource allocation, direct customer and contractor interface, construction metrics and data gathering, analyzing and strategic policy implementation.

• Dual hatted as the second in command and the camp engineer for a forward operating location of over 100 personnel in a remote and austere environment. • Ran day-to-day executive functions for the camp as well as managed 10 mission critical construction projects valued at $13M and a $6M life sustainment and services contract. • Responsible for all aspects of camp life from health and sanitation, security and force protection, logistics, construction planning, execution and life cycle maintenance.

• Responsible for the development, contracting and maintenance of training and course material for the Civil Engineer Corps Officer school, schoolhouse for the Navy’s civil engineer officers and our civilian workforce.• Led focus groups to identify job skills, defined learning objectives, and either developed in-house or contracted coursework for development.• Managed 40 instructional courses and supervised the contracted development of 4 training and curriculum course overhauls valued at $300k.
