Stephen Robinson's extensive career in education spans numerous leadership roles, including university senior administrator, headmaster of boarding schools, association executive, and superintendent of a foreign bilingual school system. He is currently assisting as a Strategic Consultant in an exploration of establishing bilingual schools in Southeast Asia. Since July 2015, he's been the Canon for Education and Superintendent of Schools for the Episcopal Diocese of Honduras, steering strategic planning, system growth, and leadership cultivation within its seven bilingual schools.Stephen has been instrumental in the Education Reimagined initiative since 2012, contributing to a transformative vision for U.S. education alongside 28 other experts. This vision, published in 2015, continues to guide his work in schools.Stephen presided over the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) from 2007 to 2015, leading the largest U.S. independent school accrediting association, encompassing 375 schools in 11 states and four countries. Before SAIS, he headed Saddlebrook Preparatory School (FL) and The Orme School of Arizona.His journey in academia began with a role as Director of Student Recruitment at Southern Nazarene University. This journey saw him taking on increasingly significant positions at various institutions: Oklahoma State University (Director of University Assessment; Director of Graduate Student Services), University of Nebraska-Kearney (Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management), and Carl Albert State College (Vice President for Student Affairs). He earned a B.A. in Religious Studies and Music, an M.A. in General Education, and a Ph.D. in Applied Behavioral Studies in Education.
