About Stephen Strombeck

Dr. Strombeck's expertise is in the areas of branding and services marketing. Over the last 20 years, he has worked as a consultant to help his clients refine how they measure and manage their customers' perceptions of service quality. Some of his clients include United Airlines, American Airlines, 7-11 Corporation (Taiwan), JMCG Hospital, Zee Medical Corporation, and Harrah's Casino. His published work in branding and services marketing has appeared in peer-reviewed journals to include Journal of Services Marketing, Managing Service Quality, Asia Pacific Management Review, International Journal of Systems Science: Operations and Logistics, and the International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology. Since 2000, Dr. Strombeck has been designing, organizing, and leading study abroad programs for his business school students. These “on the road” experiential programs included comprehensive global business programs, “boardroom” executive meetings, manufacturing/facility tours, cultural excursions, and marketplace discipleship. Sponsors for these programs included L’Oreal, Coca-Cola, Credit Suisse, FedEx, J&J, SK Telecom, Hyundai Motors, VW, Nestle, DHL, Samsung, Philips Corporation, Acer, IBM, Panasonic, Citibank, and Lenovo.
