HI I am Dr. R. Suguna, currently working as Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at Vel Tech RangarajanDr.Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Avadi, Chennai, India. I received my Ph.D in Computer Science Engineering from Anna University Chennai, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras, Chennai, B.E in Computer Engineering, from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, Tamilnadu. I have 30+ years of academic experience and has passion towards teaching. I am a Member of Board of Studies and curriculum framing at Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology. I am a recognized research supervisor of Anna University and Vel Tech guiding 8 research scholars. I am an external expert member in Anna University affiliated institutions. I was the former Dean and Head, Department of CSE at SKR Engineering College, Chennai. I have headed the department in various institutions. I am serving as the DC member for scholars at Anna University, St. Peter’s University and Satyabama University, Chennai. I have organized International Conferences and workshops in the serviced organizations. I was awarded as “Best Supporter to Society” by Science for the Society organized at IIT Madras. During my tenure, I have been associated with CISCO, Infosys, IBM, NAAC and NBA as Coordinator. I have acted as Chair person for various National and International Conferences. As a main resource person, I have conducted Hands on training programs in Machine Learning and Deep Learning. I have published 75+ research papers in reputed journals and conferences. I am a reviewer in Inderscience and Elsevier publications. I have presented technical talk during workshops and conferences.
