I have been a Paediatrician for over 25 years with special interests in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics, Psychology, Autism, ADHD and Education and on the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur fellowship program. I have won multiple awards including clinical excellence since being appointed as a NHS Consultant.I have a Masters in Health and Medical Education, Masters in Psychology and a Postgraduate diploma in Child Law and Policy. I also have diplomas in coaching and mentoring and a certified level 8 Coach/Mentor.I am a member of the British Psychological Society ( GMBPsS) and granted Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC).I am Clinical Lead for the ADHD Service and was Clinical Director for my department from 2016-2019 facilitating innovative pathways including winning Team awards. I am the Director/ Co-founder of the innovative Social Enterprise ( School Doctor) for children/ young people, schools and families - www.school-doctor.comand Founder CEO /Trustee Chair of a UK registered BAME Charity- One2One Mentoring Network (www.one2onementoring.com).My special interests are ADHD, Autism, Psychology and associated disorders. I have frequently been invited to participate on several national ADHD related advisory boards and also a frequent speaker on ADHD and several topics at local, regional and national and international events. I have facilitated frequent ADHD initiatives including clinical pathways. The East and North Hertfordshire ADHD pathway was given 'Highly Commended' status in the NICE shared learning awards in October 2015.'' I have been invited to give talks on radio including BBC Cambridgeshire radio and Hearts FM Liverpool to help increase public awareness about ADHD and related disorders. I'm a published author of a number of children's books utilizing fiction to enhance understanding of Neurodevelopmental themes for children and families. One of my books, award winning and a bestseller, has been translated into several languages and winner at the UK national reading well campaign in 2019. I have been appointed as a children’s special needs advisory Board member of a renowned educational institution in Ghana,West Africa. I was Regional Coordinator for Higher Specialty Training in Community Paediatrics, East of England. EDI Advocacy roles: As well as being CEO founder of a BAME registered mentoring Charity, I am the BMA Co-Chair for the EOE BAME Network, part of the RCPCH EDI member council, GMC EDI contact and EDI Ambassador at my NHS Trust.
