I lead, strategize, and manage public and population health initiatives with 10 area health systems (90+ Hospitals) in the North Texas region, striving for the ultimate goal of enhancing the quality of healthcare for over 13 Million North Texans. I contribute to several national, statewide, and regional initiatives with active participation in boards and committees. I lead the North Texas Community Health Collaborative (CHC) which has more than 40+ member organizations and all health systems working together to address health disparities in this region.My division supports hospital partners, non-profit organizations, and universities through hospitals' claims data warehouse of over 75 million hospital visits for more than 13 million patients collected at our organization since 1999. This data asset has been used extensively for research and quality improvement initiatives.My current priorities include strategic decision-making for addressing health disparities, improving healthcare access, health equity, and literacy, care coordination, mental/ behavioral health, developing best practices, healthcare policy analysis and workforce prediction in health care specialties.

Notable programs were, statewide evaluation of healthy beverage policy for California child cares (California Assembly Bill - AB 2084); evaluation of California Department of Public Health funded peer-led health promotion programs, research projects and clinical trial "Taking Action Together (TAT)" a three year USDA funded diabetes prevention program for overweight and obese children.

Developed a new European Union funded Diabetes and Cardiovascular Research Center, coordinated with the facility Director and Faculty Dean to develop key strategies for the new research center.Utilized funding to initiate and manage scientific research; executed research projects; managed research labs, supply chain, and procurement; established health and safety guidelines; ensured national regulatory and ethical standards; managed and supervised technical staff, doctoral and post-doctoral fellows.

Post-doctoral research fellow: Conducted research on lipoprotein metabolism, developed measurement techniques for modified fatty lipoproteins in Diabetic patients who are at higher risk of Atherosclerosis.
