Swati is currently Dean Academics and Professor of Marketing at VESIM. An IIM Ahmedabad Alumni, she is NET qualified and holds a doctorate from University of Lucknow. She is also an Associate Editor for an International Journal- 'Frontiers in Sustainable Tourism'. A 'Research Scientist' at University of Kassel, Germany, in the field of Sustainability and International Marketing, she collaborates on various research projects, take international lectures and organise workshops in Germany. She has also done a funded project sponsored by DFG Germany on "Solid Waste Management in India" as part of this collaboration. Swati is Mumbai University approved faculty | Ph.D. guide for Mumbai University, SNDT University, Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology & Development and co-guide for AIIMA-AMU. With an experience of 20 years in the area of management teaching & research, her expertise is on biodiversity preservation, societal interface and sustainable consumer & entrepreneurial approach in the global market. Her research focus is on eco-tourism, brand love, masstige branding, sustainable marketing, organic buying, and wine approach-engagement in emerging economies. Her research publications are in leading International journals. In 2021, she won the Best Presenter award at Brawijaya International Conference on Economics, Business and Finance, Bali.
