From 2015 until late 2023 I was the primary naturopathic doctor and founder of a self-owned and run clinic (Movement Medicine) in Toronto, Ontario. I primarily focused on sports medicine and performance optimization. My professional interest and special focus was on athletes, active individuals, athletic performance, strength and conditioning, sport rehabilitation, therapies and nutrition. I received my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario and a High Honours Bachelor of Physical Education, Health & Kinesiology degree from The University of Toronto. I am currently in a transition from owning a health clinic to using my skills in health, wellness, nutrition and science to reach more people. I am passionate about educating people so that they have the knowledge and skills they need to be an active participant in their own life. I would love to move into a health and wellness role where I could use education and program implementation to support specific groups people - youth, athletes, corporate executives, any and all high-achievers - to feel and perform their best.I have had extensive and wide-ranging work experience including business management and customer service at a fitness facility, residence advisor/educator and program implementation in the university setting, strength and conditioning coach for individuals and teams, teaching assistant at the secondary school level, owner and founder of a health clinic since 2015, and most recently being an executive assistant in a female and indigenous-owned retail store in the food and beverage industry.
