As a lifelong educator, I have served as a university professor (education, early childhood, psychology), mental health therapist, counselor and administrator, and hold a Master's degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Substance Use, and a Doctorate in Educational Administration and Leadership. My experience is diverse in terms of the students and individuals with whom I have worked and the types of educational and non-profit institutions where I have served. With experience as a teacher, counselor, therapist, administrator and college professor working with diverse populations in New Orleans, Louisiana; Houston, Texas and San Diego, California. I practice cultural competence and sensitivity to the many unique needs of individuals.
