Dr Teresa Hairston Jackson is one of today’s premiere voices in the faith community. She is a pioneer, an innovator and an influencer. She is an award winning writer, ghostwriter, author, musician, and entrepreneur. She is also a minister of the Gospel. Her amazing journey started back in the 1980s, when she began scoring sheet music for some of the biggest names in the gospel music industry. From there, she launched Gospel Today Magazine, which became “America’s #1 Urban Christian Lifestyle Magazine” and ran for 24 years. She also founded the Gospel Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization that impacted thousands across the globe with education about the gospel music heritage, legacy and industry.During the mid 2000s, Dr T turned her attention to helping others write their books…incredibly, she helped produce over 25 books within a 3-year period.Dr T’s profound wisdom as a leader in the gospel community, along with her prolific writing abilities have garnered national attention.When Oprah Winfrey’s team was looking for the right person to create the Faith Guide for the Christmas 2023 Color Purple movie, they chose Dr. T. When Stellar Awards creator, Don Jackson was looking for the right person to write and produce the February 2024 production of Black History Honors, he chose Dr. T. When PBS was looking for the right person to advise and appear as a content expert on their February 2024 “Gospel Music and Preaching” Documentary, they chose Dr. T.Dr. T is the author of 9 empowering books that range from finding and pursuing purpose to becoming a self-published author. In 2023, after being single for several decades, Dr T married the love of her life, Mr. Don Jackson, and together they are moving forward to inspire and empower others to know that it’s never too late to live their dreams and enjoy life to the fullest.
