I work in non-profit leadership and higher education supporting collaborative efforts and institutional transformation initiatives to improve student success. Most recently I led efforts at a regional non-profit doing cradle-to-career support in southern California - managing institutional change supports for 18 colleges and universities. While working at universities, I was focused on student engagement, first-generation student support, high impact practices, leadership, career counseling and readiness, campus navigational capital, and academic advising for student success. I worked across multiple student success and high impact practice areas including: tutoring and academic support, student leadership, service learning, undergraduate research, prestigious scholarships, capital internships, health professions advising, career to work transitions, first year mentoring programs, first-generation student success, and student-initiated courses.I am interested in academic advising theory and history, advising and student affairs delivery models, career counseling, student engagement, undergraduate education, graduate school preparation assistance, counseling theory, compassion fatigue and burnout, impostor syndrome, and technology in higher education. Looking to connect and collaborate with others in higher education and non-profits that support educational access, student success, and social mobility!
