Dr Tim Corn currently serves as Executive Director and Chief Medical Officer at Oxford Cannabinoid Technologies plc, Non-executive Director at Physiomics plc, Chief Medical Officer at Nodenza Inc, and as Medical Advisor to Confo Therapeutics.He was formerly Chief Medical Officer at EUSA Pharma Inc (acquired by Jazz Pharmaceuticals in 2012), at Zeneus Pharma (acquired by Cephalon in 2006), as well as Chairman at Reneuron Group plc and at the charity Nerve Tumours UK, NED at Circassia Pharmaceuticals plc, HERA Pharma and Neurocentrx Pharma Ltd. After gaining a Bachelor’s in chemistry and a Master’s in biochemistry from Imperial College, London, Dr. Corn qualified in medicine at King's College Hospital, London and went on to become honorary Consultant and Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, London. Dr Corn has held senior medical, clinical and regulatory positions in both big and small pharma, as well as in the UK regulatory agency. He has played a key role in more than twenty regulatory approvals in USA and Europe for products in the fields of neurology, pain and oncology, the most recent being the approvals by FDA of the BLA for Erwinaze and the NDA for Defitelio. He is the author of more than forty scientific publications and was elected Fellow of both the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
