Since receiving my PhD in 1982, I have spent my professional career as a mathematician and psychologist developing the Opposite Strengths intellectual property library. Begun in 1955 by a pioneer in executive coaching, Opposite Strengths is now a complete and proven successful training and coaching system delivered in both live seminar and coaching events and in online, independent experiences. I have personally trained over 1,000 executive coaches and facilitators in over 1,400 organizations to teach the Opposite Strengths system to others. My goal is to have organizations embrace Opposite Strengths as a cultural language that will transform them into successful, team-oriented, and ever-growing organizations. When I am not working in my profession, I like traveling, golf, live music, classic rock (especially Eric Clapton and The Beatles), walking on the beach, snow skiing, sitting by the fireplace, reading biographies, visiting with my children, playing with my grandchildren, sitting on a Vermont porch watching the leaves turn in the fall, contemplating the meaning of the JWST discoveries, and playing Wordle.
