My passion for music and technology ignited during my childhood with my first computer, a Macintosh Classic II. In my family, work ethics and valuing abundant life experiences were prioritized while degrees were very few. At 13, my initial job was part of YouthWorks in West Philadelphia, restoring playgrounds through mural arts and clean-ups.Growing up, my parents engaged me in volunteering programs, fostering a strong sense of community service. Influenced by my father, my love for music flourished, leading me to intern at music studios and discover my musical gift. Despite finding school uninteresting, I graduated high school and briefly attended Bloomsburg University, founding my R&B Soul Radio Station, "the Curby Show."Entering the workforce, I started as a Print Production Specialist at FedEx/Kinkos and later became a Mailroom Clerk for PWC via Pitney Bowes. Returning to my passion for volunteering, I became a Volunteer Internship Coordinator with the non-profit Jr. Music Executives. In 2014, life led me to a full-time role as a Tax Examining Clerk with the Internal Revenue Service. Despite the demands, I continued volunteering, not completing my studies at Community College. Recommended for a Supervisor college program at UPS before ending studies at CCP, I secured a full-time position as a Training & Retention Supervisor. In 2018, I left UPS and joined Apple as a PT Tech Specialist, later becoming a FT Tech Expert at Apple Carnegie Library. Progressing through various roles, I also served as a Volunteer Champion and Black @ Apple Ambassador. Furthering my career, I was promoted to Genius and had the opportunity to join the Glendale Apple Store in 2020.In 2022, I took a bold step, departing Apple Retail for an IT contract role in Apple Music via Red Oak Technologies. Unfortunately, in December 2022, the contract for my team expired and was not renewed.
