• Enabled savings of $140,000 by designing consolidated warehouse layout allowing expansion of manufacturing line. Production space increased by 1300+ sq ft, 1500+ pallet positions relocated, 200+ additional new pallet locations, 180+ new cantilever rack locations. • Automated processing of 5000+ SAP routings and bills of material (bom’s) per year using Access and Excel. Improved efficiency 50%+ which enabled reduction in staff of 1 IE saving $50,000+ year. I also took over responsibility for updating all facility Autocad layout drawings as needed for improvement projects, EHS, maintenance, or as requested.• Reduced overhead absorption costs $800,000+ year by submitting business case to insource production. Management approved project was completed with only $5000 in new tooling required to implement production. • Designed layout, obtained quotes, and prepared storage solution for Small Parts in 2016. Reduction in overtime expected saving $26,000+ annually. • Co-led audit of 2 day Ergonomics Blitz assisting 6 cross functional teams performing risk assessments on 140+ job tasks quantifying all ergo risk in facility resulting in 18%+ ergo improvements in 1 year. • Enabled on time launch of multi-million dollar product line by creating 4 new 45 page standard operating procedures (sop’s) in 2016. Created 8 work centers, 200+ routings for orders. Co-led value stream map event identifying lead times, 12+ areas to improve quality, cost, delivery times.
