My strong passion for agriculture comes from the idea of wanting to help feed the world. I started exploration of the agricultural field as an organic soybean caretaker the summer before I started high school. Since then, I have become fully immersed in the world of agriculture through joining FFA and working for many local farmers, at a grain elevator, and most recently, as an agricultural/seed consultant for Ricketts Farm Service in Cairo, Missouri. Looking ahead, my future goals are to graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Systems Technology, a minor in Agribusiness Management and a Precision Agriculture certificate and obtain a job in the precision agriculture field.
