I am a General Practitioner, Lifestyle Physician and Health Coach.As a General Practitioner. trained in London, UK and with 20 year experience of both the NHS and private sector, I see patients who need help with their daily medical needs. I also hold Diplomas in Sexual health and Dermatology and have a special interest in men's health problems.As a Lifestyle Physician I support patients to prevent, manage and reverse certain chronic conditions through lifestyle modifications supported by behavior change skills and techniques. My aim is to help patients achieve optimal health and so use a model of optimal health and well-being that focuses on helping patients be more pro active with health screening, to eat more healthily, to stay active, to sleep better, to improve social connections, to manage stress and mental health better, and to reduce harmful substance use. As a Health Coach I help patients gain awareness of where they are and where they want to be in relation to their health and well-being. I motivate and support patients to change their behaviors and partner them on their journey towards optimal health.Who I help:As a GP anyone – adult or child – for any medical problem As a Lifestyle Physician and Health Coach ANY patient who wants to review their health and well-being and have advice and support to feel healthier and happier. I work with a patient with a model of optimal and health and well-being. (See below). A typical patient may be a busy professional (male or female) who is neglecting their health (poor nutrition, poor sleep, little exercise, perhaps drinking too much and has little personal time) and so is on a course toward burn out. They may have also ongoing health problems and are likely struggling a little so need help and support to get their health and wellbeing back on track.
