I am Dr. Vangala Ramakrishna, completed my Ph.D., Thesis entitled "Genetic mutations associated with injectable anti-tubercular second-line drugs in clinical isolates of Mycobacterium tuberculosis from North India." at King George's Medical University. Lucknow, UP, INDIA.I have received Vice Chancellor's Gold Medal for Best Thesis Award.I have Received the Eminence in Research Award in 2019.I have Received (Beyond The Call Of Duty) Front line Warrior Health Care Hero's Award 2020.At present, I am working as a Senior Scientific Officer at Orange Health Research & Diagnostic Laboratory. I have a strong background in Microbiology, Molecular biology, Virology, and bacteriology while working in Virology and molecular biology with an emphasis on diagnosis and genome-wide studies. I have also worked on more than 21 different types of viruses' diagnosis and research, including Influenza (A, B) and other Severe Acute Respiratory Infection viruses (Para Influenza 1,2,3,4, Human Meta Pneumo Virus, Human Boca Virus), Acute Encephalitis Syndrome panel and vector-borne diseases, Hepatitis panel (A, B, C, and E) and Meningitis virus (H. influenza, S. pneumonia, N. meningitides). I have been working on various virus outbreaks and COVID-19. During this periodl 2017 Swine -flu outbreak in Uttar Pradesh, Indial 2018 Dengue outbreak in Uttar Pradesh, Indial 2018 VZV outbreak in Uttar Pradesh, India l 2018 AES outbreak in Bihar, Indial 2019 Hepatitis E virus outbreak in Uttar Pradesh, Indial 2019 COVID-19 outbreak I especially dealt with Gene cloning and expression in E. coli expression system, RT-PCR, PCR for MTB and other 21 types of viruses, ELISA, Gel electrophoresis, and Sanger Sequencing (3130, 3500Dx); including Data collection, Analysis (SNP, genotyping), Next Generation Sequencing (Ion Torrent), MinION Oxford NANOPORE.
