Neurosurgeon (FRACS, Neurosurgery) currently practising @ Gold Coast University Hospital, Gold Coast Private Hospital and the Spine Centre (Gold Coast). Has a practice specialising in skull base, neuro-oncology, complex spine and functional neurosurgery including epilepsy, movement disorders and tremors (including MRgFUS at GCUH).Member of the NSA Board and NSA examinations committee. Prior specialist clinical training as Neurosurgical Fellow @ Austin hospital (Melbourne, VIC) including experience in epilepsy, DBS, deep brain biopsies and complex spine surgeries. Additional Skull Base Fellowship undertaken @ Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences, UK (via SRFT & RCS, Edinburgh).Active member of Lions Club Australia and a member of the scientific committee of the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation. Previously completed Ph.D in Neuro-oncology @ UniMelb focusing on pre-clinical cancer stem cell models and cancer biology.
