Wendy is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado and Missouri with over 20 years of industry experience, including residential real estate sales and valuation, investment property analysis, property management, REO (foreclosed) properties, broker price opinions and insurance loss inspections. She holds bachelor of science degrees in both Economics and Marketing Management from Missouri State University, a master of arts degree in Economics from Colorado State University, and a PhD in Personal Financial Planning at Kansas State University. In addition to her experience as a real estate broker, Wendy worked as a faculty member in the Department of Finance and Real Estate at Colorado State University for 8 years, teaching numerous undergraduate and graduate courses across the real estate, finance and financial planning disciplines. She has also taught economics courses for Front Range Community College and finance courses for Kansas State University. She was a recipient and nominee for several teaching awards throughout her career.Wendy's academic experience includes work as a Real Estate Analyst/Researcher for the Everitt Real Estate Center at Colorado State University, where she collaborated with industry professionals on a variety of projects and designed statistical models used to forecast real estate prices in Northern Colorado. She is also a contributing author for several widely used real estate textbooks for McGraw Hill Education. Wendy's research focuses on real estate, financial planning, and student loans. She has had the opportunity to present her work to industry professionals and academics at several conferences, as well as students at Ewha Woman's University in Seoul, South Korea. Wendy has won awards for her research at academic conferences and has publications in peer-reviewed academic and industry journals.
