Led the Community College Center for Economic Mobility to strengthen community colleges in regional and national economic mobility ecosystems. Administered strategies that included: Silicon Valley Leadership Group's Community College 2 Career Initiative; National Science Foundation's Pacific Northwest HUB for STEM Core Expansion - 15 colleges; South Bay Consortium for Adult Education - 4 colleges, 5 adult schools, and ALLIES - Immigrant Integration Framework); SparkPoint San José (Financial coaching to counter housing and food insecurities); Customized Instruction on Demand including regional workforce partnerships; Career Pathways (2+3 Computer Science Master's degree partnership with Northeastern University and Non-Credit Bridge Programs; Professional Development (Student Services Academy, Stanford Educational Leadership Initiative Faculty Professional Development - Mathematical Mindsets); Silicon Valley Career Pathways (winner of the 2019 Bellwether Award) - STEMCore, MAPIn, and Collaborative Impact Networks (United Way Bay Area Regional SparkPoint Initiative, Santa Clara County Opportunity Youth Partnership).

Led the Workforce Institute (WI) to cultivate the rich diversity of our regional communities with economic opportunity and tap the talent needed for a globally competitive economy. Programs and services included: Silicon Valley Career Pathways (3 universities, 10 colleges, 13 school & charter districts, 5 workforce intermediaries, 5 workforce development boards); South Bay Consortium for Adult Education (4 colleges and 5 adult schools); San José | Evergreen Community College District Foundation; and, Customized Training Solutions on demand. Strategic partnerships engaged the regional educational and economic ecosystem for collaborative impact and dissemination of effective practice. Led significant organizational transformation including refocusing, relocating and re-branding the Workforce Institute to become the Community College Center for Economic Mobility. Used a social justice framework to focus first on economic mobility needs of families leading to greater workforce and economic participation rooted in diversity, inclusion and equity.

Served with the College of Alameda (COA) Executive Leadership Team during an intense yearlong (2015-2016) focus to address 20 accreditation recommendations received Spring 2015. (The fall 2016 Accreditation team site visit resulted in reaffirmation of Accreditation.) Provided leadership for the COA Student Services Division. Supported college connection and completion with a focus on diversity and equity to achieve institutional effectiveness in fulfilling the mission, vision and values of COA. Embraced service integration strategies across the institution to strengthen organizational capacity and catalyze innovative partnerships to increase resources and opportunities for student achievement. Served as the Institution's Title IX Officer. Led the completion of institution-wide Equity Plan submitted to the Chancellor's Office, California Community Colleges. Partnered with Follett Higher Education Group for a no-cost complete remodel of the campus bookstore and provided administrative leadership for the opening of a Veterans' Center and a bond-funded remodel of the Disability Student Programs and Services facilities. The COA campus co-located Employment Services One-Stop for the Alameda Workforce Development Board earned the Outstanding WIOA Services Award.

Rice Diversity and Equity Award, the Annie E. Casey Foundation College Innovator Award.) Integrated instructional and student services programs: Grove Scholars Program, English Language Institute, Employment Services Center, Income Tax Assistance, Career and Technical Ed., Financial Coaching, Legal Clinic, Career Advancement Academies. Managed complex partnerships funded by external grants and contracts. Ensured regulatory compliance and built institutional systems to support external funding. Developed proposals for funding and collaborated across agencies to leverage non-traditional funding opportunities. Managed delivery of services designed for community members regardless of enrollment status. Provided free tax preparation, food pantry, unemployment insurance benefits access with CA Employment Development Dept., and CalFresh (SNAP) outreach. Recognized as a best in class model by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston in "Promoting Pathways to Financial Stability: Building the Financial Capabilities of Community College Students" (2015) and the U.S. Dept. Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families in "Building Financial Capability: A Planning Guide for Integrated Services" prepared by Prosperity Now - formerly Corporation for Enterprise Development.
