Develops initiatives that focus on new student-veteran recruitment and student-veteran retention that support the overall UMGC growth strategy. Plans, organizes, and directs all University-wide, non-academic program-related initiatives and support programs related to student veterans.Provides necessary resources to Veterans Certification Office to ensure that all certification activities for veterans’ educational benefits—to include mandated training, reporting, compliance, and processing requirements—are conducted pursuant to all federal and state-level policy, regulatory and statutory requirements.Supervises the Veterans Iniatives Office in assessing, monitoring, and tracking the needs of the current student veteran population, and developing & executing initiatives based on identified needs.- Career Ladder Board Working Group- General Education Skills/Curriculum Design Workgroup
