Kamakshi R. Zeidler MD FACSFounding & Managing Partner at AesthetxDr. Kamakshi R. Zeidler, board certified plastic surgeon, is the managing partner and founder of Aesthetx, the premier plastic surgery and dermatology practice in Silicon Valley, California. A visionary in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, Dr. Zeidler has a true passion for establishing strong partnerships with companies in the aesthetic space. Her role as a strategic medical advisor, leading authority and principal investigator for many clinical trials has been paramount in developing new state-of-the-art products for breast surgery. Dr. Zeidler has authored many publications on novel technologies, procedures and safety for breast surgery and her publication, “The Safety of Textured and Smooth Silicone Implants,” was selected as the Aesthetic Surgery Journal’s best publication in 2018. As a mentor and advocate for women’s health, Dr. Zeidler serves on the board of directors of Cancer CAREpoint, collaborating with them as an advisor to help grow and scale the organization to serve the Silicon Valley community. In addition, she recently became a strategic aesthetic advisor for Octane’s (Octane OC) Launchpad startup accelerator and will provide insight to emerging companies to help refine their commercial strategies.Dr. Zeidler received a B.A. degree with honors from Rice University and a Doctorate of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Zeidler completed her plastic surgery residency and postdoctoral research fellowship at UCSF and advanced microsurgical fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center. From there, Dr. Zeidler entered private practice and ultimately delivered on her unique vision of creating a fully integrated plastic surgery and dermatology practice by launching Aesthetx. The value of this integrated approach has been recognized and emulated by Dr. Zeidler’s colleagues here in the U.S. and around the world.
