I'm a computer science enthusiast that began programming when I was very young thanks to my parents that let me use their 8086 4,77Mhz IBM-PC computer with only MS-DOS and GW-BASIC. My dad told me that if I wished to play games, there was only one possible thing to do: build them for me, and so did I. Since then, I got special expertise within CS world in C, C++ (specially client/server and multi-threaded applications), x86 ASM, PHP, SQL and shell scripting. In 1998 I founded my first company and became in the following years self-taught in several areas such us accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, fiscal policies and related financial issues, as well as other IT areas such as networking, where I was pleased to learn real-world STP/PVST, LACP, Cisco VTP/Netflow, VRRP, OSPF, BGP4, Policy routing, Load balancing, DDoS management, MPLS, IOS and JunOS, among others. In the latest years I also got expertise in technologies around the new Cloud term, including the entire VMware product catalog, ESXi, KVM and Xen hypervisors, Libvirt, Openstack, PXE, clustering and High Availability platforms, shared storage platforms and many storage technologies.Starting in 2003, I’ve been more involved in the business management area, though I kept updating my knowledge in the tech area. This is probably which best defines my profile (mixed tech/business) which is in turn one of my strengths.I've started and participated some unsuccessful companies that have led me to lose a lot of money. Despite of that, I've learnt a lot about what you do NOT have to do, and I think that is a great value. My most successful company was Veloxia in the Internet Hosting market where I have 12 years of experience and I'm currently working on.

Ceo And FounderStackscaleAmsterdam, Nh, Nl -
Ceo & FounderStackscale Jan 2012 - PresentAmsterdamAfter exiting acens, I moved to Amsterdam and founded Stackscale BV, an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Cloud provider. This is the second time I start a venture in the Internet Hosting market and I’m willing to apply my past experience in a project that is being built from scratch, replicating things that worked out and avoiding problems and bottlenecks that I know can arise.Of course, it is not only a matter of doing something you already did but better, there are several key differences:- A global project. We were focused in the past in the Spanish market, like every other company in our market did in Spain, though some weak internationalization plans were put in place. Stackscale is based in Amsterdam, a key Internet area within Europe that will host the main European infrastructure. A USA based subsidiary and technical infrastructure will follow soon to be able to provide service in two continents, with specialized sales teams for specific regions.- Automation. In the past, too many things were done manually. Today, several technologies allows a company like ours to homogenize the physical infrastructure up to a point in which almost no customer-specific equipment is needed and everything can be automated, disregarding the project type. Moreover, redundancy can be deployed today at all levels, thus achieving immunity to hardware failures of any kind. All of this lead to much lower costs, which can be translated to either higher profit margins or lower end-user price. We bet for the latest, looking forward to massive sales, but still providing a warm, close and highly skilled technical support, which was a key success point for us in the past. -

FounderMelodysoft.Com 1998 - PresentElda, AlicanteIn the middle of my studies, and with the help of my cousin, I founded my first profitable company without any economic investment. Just before the .com bubble explosion, the company achieved a fairly decent level of monthly revenues in advertisement, which abruptly fell by the end of year 2000. In terms of web traffic, it topped at 60 million page views and 4 million unique users per month a few years after it was founded. . Nowadays it still delivers more than 25 million pageviews per month despite its development was stopped long time ago. Now looking forward to relaunch the project as a 2.0 modern social network.
