Designed a weather balloon flight computer for use in a classroom setting. Allowing students to add sensors they find necessary for conducting an experiment for near space investigation. - Using sensors, microcontrollers, and a xbee radio module to interface between multiple weather balloon payloads and the flight computer. - All of this data is then transmitted back to a ground station in real time including GPS location, altitude, atmospheric pressure, and other related sensor readings.Facilitated a classroom with domestic and international students from the ages of 8 to 18. - Teaching and helping other instructors out in robotic, rocket, and near space investigation classes where the students build their own robot/rocket/weather balloon and learn about different ways they can do to improve their design.
