Having 8+ years of combined data research, marketing analysis, and management experience gives me a unique perspective when gathering data and performing analysis for products, profitability, market segmentation, or process improvements needed for your organization’s success. I am a natural at converting data into meaningful information for use toward long-term strategic planning, improved customer service, and increased efficiencies. I understand and appreciate the high-level strategic goals of management, the day-to-day operational processes of staff, and the voice of the customer (VOC) for whom we all serve. I am solutions-focused in all activities. I am currently seeking to transition from the digital marketing space to the data analytics side, where I can contribute to both the breadth and depth of an organization's future growth on a larger scale.I have completed 10+ web-based courses related to: R, Python, SQL, statistical analysis, and data mining. In addition, I have sought to expand my knowledge by working through a handful of books on data science, statistics, and database design.I have a BA in Business Administration (Marketing) from California State University, Fullerton, which was earned in June 2014. Prior to my marketing career I worked for over six years at technology retailer Best Buy, where I spent two years as an Operations Supervisor. In this role, I was responsible for training and managing as many as 30 department employees.
