Oversees budget, personnel, and all operations of the State Library agency including: state archives; public records; law and legislation library; government information; history and genealogy; library development; CT Library for Accessible Books; and the Museum of Connecticut History. Partners with local, state, and national organizations on matters of shared interest. Represents the agency in governmental and professional arenas.

Major Accomplishments: 1) modernized staffing structure, budget model, policies, and operations to better reflect a future-minded library; 2) represented Center interests in organizational pandemic response and return planning groups, including adapting library space for social distancing, technology needs, and remote services; 3) partnered with program coordinators and administration to integrate legal research and technology instruction more fully into the curriculum; 4) recruited talented new team members to fill vacancies

Major Accomplishments: 1) assisted director on library administration, including budget planning, personnel management, and development and implementation of long-range plans 2) oversaw day-to-day operations of public services department, including liaison program, reference, access services, digital services, and 1L/LL.M. research instruction program; 3) expanded 1L/LL.M. research instruction so all public services librarians contributed to creation of course materials and lessons; 4) created the system-wide Librarian Writing Group to support publication efforts; 5) chaired a library system-wide committee responsible for professional development programming, including creation of a comprehensive training initiative; 6) participated in faculty liaison program and collection development decisions for the library; 7) supervised full-time librarians, full-time staff members, and part-time students

Major Accomplishments: 1) co-created a robust outreach program for students which enhanced communications and increased library and collection usage, including spearheading a personal librarian program; 2) managed the College of Law’s institutional repository and spearheaded its migration from one shared with the university to one solely for the College; 3) a primary editor of the law library website during two migration/redesigns; 4) maintained law library’s digital signage, including all content creation; 5) created the Library Marketing Committee to better promote the library to students, faculty, alumni, and members of the local bar; 6) drafted the library section of the College’s successful Order of the Coif application; 7) supervised 2-4 graduate research assistants each semester and overhauled hiring and training procedures; 8) active member of the law faculty; 9) successfully applied for promotion twice

Major Accomplishments: 1) primary editor of the law library website, including coding a redesign by hand; 2) created a series of in-house publications to explain legal research and materials to students and public patrons; 3) aided in the creation of an in-depth certificate program on legal research training; 4) proposed and curated a law-related popular media collection which inspired other law libraries to do the same; 5) selected specialized materials for the collection; 6) served as library liaison to 8 law faculty members
