Initially, I was brought on as an Inside Sales representative to support several outside sales representatives. In addition to supporting territories in the Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest - in only a few short months we established Toronto as a critical territory when prior to my tenure it had not been a priority. We brought several enterprise financial organizations and retailers into the fold, and after only a few short months I was given the opportunity to build and train the first business development team at the organization.I was tasked with hiring, training, and mentoring new hires on the methods that were put together while still being responsible for lead generation and supporting several outside sales representatives. I was also responsible for designing and orchestrated the entire outbound lead generation process and training sales reps on the methods. Prior to joining NetSPI, methods had been focused entirely on cold calling. During my time leading the team a new and dramatically more effective method was put into place involving LinkedIn outreach, cold e-mail sequences, and social / relationship-based selling. Following this, I was given the opportunity to build out the NW USA territory which was almost entirely greenfield, and had responsibility for penetrating the largest organizations in San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, and Denver. NetSPI was acquired in 2016. -
