Solutions4Rail AG works on different mandates for railcar leasing companies and the Swiss VAP association.Detlef Schlickelmann has over 20 years of business experience in the rail freight sector. He was CTO prior to moving on to a COO position at Wascosa AG, where, during the past 7 years, he managed a workforce of up to 35 employees and a yearly purchasing budget of 120 MEUR. As Head of the Technical Department at the French Ermewa Group, the 2nd largest railcar keeper and Fleet Manager in Europe, he was able to gather an in-depth technical expertise over 18 years of employment. While being active for these two companies, he led over 120 new build projects that amounted to 5’000 railcars. He is technical coordinator for the Swiss Private Siding and Railcar Owner Association (VAP). Detlef Schlickelmann graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the Engineering School of Geneva and later acquired his MBA from the University of Geneva.For the Swiss VAP (Verband der verladenden Wirtschaft), Detlef Schlickelmann is in charge for the technology regulation, operations and the dangerous goods. https://www.cargorail.ch
