Project Details: NAM-EMOUN Hydropower Project (Lao PDR)ILF scope includes design & construction supervision underground conveyance system/ $150M. The hydropower project has a design discharge of 37 m³/s and a gross head of H = 430 m, generating 131.5 MW through two Pelton turbines. The project considers approx. 20 km of pressurized tunnels with two gated weirs. It is the first project in South-East Asia to merge two pressurized tunnels.Duties and responsibilities:- Inspection and supervision of all operations and activities of the contractor relating to all underground conveyance system (tunnels, chambers, shafts, portal excavations) on the Nam E-Moun Project.- Guide the contractor’s personnel and underground works according to the Norwegian Method of Tunneling (NMT).- Collecting site information and preparing reports.- Providing an interface between back office and construction site.- Quality control works, preparing non-conformity reports and propose rectification work or other solutions.- Advising the client on all matters relating to the execution of the underground works.- Assisting and verifying quantities of supports and excavation for payment of IPC’s submitted by the contractor.- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports for quality control, excavation and support processes and include comments and solutions on the quality of the works in accordance with the underground works construction contract.- Leading the tunnel supervisors in all aspects of underground construction and site work.- Conducting final inspections tests and commissioning.

(IPG) and Razel Bec (France)Contract for Design and Construction of Underground WorksDuties and responsibilities:Remark: Promoted to Technical manager (from November 01, 2018).- Designed and prepared/drafted construction drawings for slopes and underground works.- Conducted planning and scheduling of tunnel works and resource planning.- Conducted primary evaluation for the selection of tunnel equipment.- Carried out planning and execution of tunnel excavation sequence, blast design, slope excavations and supporting, and other underground operations such as pipe roofing, consolidation grouting, pre-excavation grouting (PEG), curtain grouting, on-site fabrication and installation of wiremesh and steel arches.- Trained of local personnel for tunnel blasting and supporting.- Implemented of QA/ QC processes for tunneling/ underground works, convergence monitoring of tunnels.- Carried out planning and execution of final lining installation (concrete and steel penstock).- Developed geological documentation and additional site investigations.- Performed contract administration works with government/client parties and involved in solving legal and FIDIC issues- Prepared and reviewed of IPC, method statements, meetings and documentation.

(Energy & Water Projects), IranMain features of project: Headrace tunnel - 15,150 m (4.3 m diameter, Double shield hard rock TBM), Link tunnel between two reservoirs - 3,975 m (NATM), Fully underground power house, 629m pressure shaftDuties and responsibilities:- Performed construction supervision of underground excavation and rock support including D&B and TBM tunnels, portal/slope excavation and stabilization.- Prepared method statements for powerhouse and transformer caverns excavation, blasting design and prepared other necessary documents for obtaining government approvals for blasting activities.- Carried out coordination and administration works of site supervision.- Performed QM activities (concrete production, shotcrete, grout mix and rock bolt testing etc.).- Performed geological assessments and TSP (Tunnel seismic prediction) tests for underground excavations.- Conducted planning and supervision of grouting works including cement and chemical grouting.- Conducted surface water and settlement monitoring.- Verified contractors’ payment certificates and handled FIDIC contract issues.
