After my Bachelor graduation I wanted to gain more practical experience in a professional setting. For this reason I took on the challenge to run the UniPartners Eindhoven enterprise with six other students for a whole year. UniPartners Eindhoven is a non-profit academic consultancy agency according to the Junior Enterprise Concept. This is a worldwide concept for Junior Entrepreneurs running a Junior Enterprise and conducting academic consultancy projects for companies.UniPartners forms the bridge between students with up-to-date academic knowledge and companies with business challenges. It gives students the opportunity to gain practical work experience, on project basis, directly related to his/her major field of study.Being a board member at UniPartners Eindhoven means being a Project Manager, being responsible for project acquisition and having a specific function. My specific function in the UniPartners Eindhoven board was the Human Resource Manager. I was responsible for the internal organisation of UniPartners Eindhoven. This holds selecting and educating new employees, supporting board members within their professional and personal development, organizing board evaluations, guiding the knowledge transfer from the yearly changing boards. Moreover, I was responsible for the traineeship which is offered to ambitious students to support their professional development. I focused on strengthening and increasing the UniPartners Eindhoven community. Not only did I want to bring UniPartners Eindhoven to a higher level. In order to carry this through on a national level I was member of the Audit Taskteam and the Lustrum Gala committee of UniPartners the Netherlands as well.
