With over 20 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, I am a passionate and innovative technologist who enjoys solving complex problems and creating scalable solutions. My mission is to leverage my skills and expertise to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery and empower clinicians and facilities. As a Technical Director Enterprise Architecture at connectRN, I led a team of principal engineers and managed the performance and security of all applications, while developing architectural approaches for new product functionality.In my engineering role, I was responsible for developing and maintaining the primary financial application to manage clinician pay and facility billing. I created and deployed the first micro-service application for clinician pay rates, and developed and led engineering guild meetings for dissemination of coding best practices. I also provided tier 3 support for system-wide outages and slow performance issues, and designed and developed ongoing product features. I applied my skills in process improvement, software development, and agile methodologies to deliver high-quality and reliable software solutions that met the needs of the users and the business.
