My Professional working experience started in the Mountains. The High Sierra's as a matter of fact. What I would consider my first "real job" would have to be at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. Here I gained a wealth of knowledge that I still use to this day. Culminating in achieving a PSIA-AASI Snowboard Level 2 Certification and Mt. Rose's Ski School Employee of the Year in the 2018-2019 season. From here I brought that knowledge and experience and applied it to The Downhill Ski Resort at Tahoe Donner Association. Basically had a season under my belt here before Covid-19 shut down the Resort and the world. I had just been announced as Player (Employee) of the Month for February, a week before the shut down. Due to this extreme situation, the snow sports industry was unable to schedule and carry out further education opportunities that would have helped advance my career. Pair this with the current economy surrounding gas prices, the daily commute from Reno to Truckee, and overall frustrations regarding benefits and compensation I had to make a change. This led to my most recent work experience with The Conservation Inc. A small organization geared toward Company-wide quality control sales/retention. Upon passing my Nevada Resident Producer's License for Life & Health Insurance, I was able to start calling. Immediately producing for the company, without full knowledge of all the machine, I ended up producing $50,000 in 4 months! Long story short, I had to end my contract due to disagreements in the company sickness policy. This leads to present day, where it is a new day and opportunities are everywhere!
