In this role, I was responsible for managing and configuring a variety of security products, including endpoint protection and network security solutions, to enhance organizational protection and mitigate risks across all levels. I worked closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive information security strategies that aligned with business goals and objectives. As part of this role, I played a pivotal role in the design, engineering, and implementation of connectivity products, ensuring robust network security throughout the organization. I contributed to the successful execution of projects and programs, working closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and refine security solutions.Key responsibilities included:• Collaborating on the design and engineering of connectivity products, ensuring secure and reliable network infrastructure.• Developing and refining project and program plans, contributing to the evaluation, development, and definition of key objectives and deliverables.• Conducting security assessments, risk analyses, and planning for work orders related to network security projects and programs.• Leading the deployment of work orders, coordinating efforts between business units, service providers, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery.• Ensuring the delivery of projects and programs met quality standards and security requirements.• Assisting in the implementation of agreed-upon remedies and preventative measures to enhance network security.• Supporting change management, problem management, and incident management processes by gathering critical information and facilitating seamless operations.

In this role, I engaged as the main customer/RnD bridge for all Check Points’ major releases. In addition, I undertook project management activities and acted as the communication conduit between the department and the customer, where I delivered a first-rate professional service to Beta-customers, maintaining high availability and clustered firewall environments for customers using Check Point High Availability/ Load Sharing solutions.Highlights from my role included: • Delivered an excellent on-going support service, co-ordinated and configured multi-site troubleshooting and maintenance issues, holding accountability for resolving issues • Project Lead for the redesign and upgrade of Check Point customers environments, managed and scheduled global installations, working directly with R&D, RLM, QA and Check Point customers • Built and replicated customer’s environment for simulation purposes (POC and system testing). • Delivered business-critical upgrades on customers production environments with 50 - 5000 active users • Undertook additional onsite installations (tasked with 20 p.a., but executed 30), entailing preparation of in-lab simulations per installation in advance • Secured eight new EA customers in a year, exceeding the target of five • Conducted testing i.e. defining, documenting, analysing and executing tests • Upgraded extensive production environments, when technical troubleshooting and debugging, and when recording and updating tasks in Jira • Communicated with clientele to gather feedback; facilitated customers both on-site and remotely

Within this function, I was accountable for devising test plans, writing test cases, executing manual and automated tests, reporting issues and test automation. In addition, I was selected to lead both large-scale and smaller projects (Gaia releases).Highlights from my role included: • Created and undertook manual testing on Check Point's most high end and complex platform (61000/64000) • Handled escalations for renowned clientele such as Wells Fargo, Expedia and Vodafone and more • Conducted manual networking and security testing of Gaia system • Drove configuration of clients’ servers (both on Linux and Windows), routing protocols, VPN, IPv4/IPv6, creating in-depth network topologies • Created traffic, applying skills in Avalanche, IXIA and beyond, working with setup under high load • Troubleshot customer scenarios and addressed handling reproduction matters
