In 2016 I graduated early from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in Tourism Management. As a Colorado native, I believe it's important to protect the heritage of our state and the American West via the preservation of historic sites, technology, and memories. An important aspect of local heritage tourism is the operation of steam era railroads that made westward expansion possible. Currently I'm exploring the vocation of operating, maintaining, and repairing 19th and 20th century steam locomotives at the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.
