I helped create a platform that aims to tackle the issue of sexual harassment in India. Sexual harassment is a grave issue in India, and it is estimated that around 90% of women in the country have experienced some form of sexual harassment in public spaces.- AASHA includes various features such as IPC knowledge, a harass-map to report incidents, an assistant to guide users through the reporting process, and a social media feed where users can share their experiences related to sexual harassment.- The knowledge section provides detailed information about the IPC sections that cover sexual harassment, helping victims to identify and recognize such behavior.- The harass-map feature allows users to report incidents anonymously, identifying hotspots and patterns of sexual harassment in specific areas.- The assistant feature provides emotional support to victims and helps them navigate the complex reporting process.- The social media feed on AASHA creates a safe and supportive environment for victims to share their experiences and seek support from experts and others in the community.- Experts can offer direct messages or comments on the posts, providing users with knowledge and expertise to help them navigate the reporting process.- AASHA aims to empower victims to report incidents of sexual harassment and find support, creating a community where sexual harassment is not tolerated, and victims are provided with the resources they need to seek justice.- By providing a comprehensive platform that includes IPC knowledge, a harass-map, an assistant, and a social media feed, AASHA hopes to combat the issue of sexual harassment in India and create a safe and supportive environment for all.
