- Manage advanced major maintenance projects comprised of multidisciplinary teams throughout the CAPS process.- Proactive scheduling and implementation of preventative maintenance best practices throughout TransGas’ entire compressor fleet; ensuring safe and efficient operation through lifetime optimization.- Management of TransGas’ entire compressor package inventory system within OneWorld; standardization of parts, naming conventions and inventory levels.- Provide on-going maintenance support to field staff by applying sound application of engineering practices and problem-solving techniques to improve operating equipment performance and reduce downtime.- Manage and provide leadership to the assigned staff of the routine compression analysis program and evaluate recommendations with Operations Leads.- Develop, prepare and present Unified Management System (UMS) and five-year plans to optimize TransGas’ entire compressor fleet.

- Project Lead for the OASyS DNA GMAS R5 SP2 software upgrade project; improvement of existing gas measurement software used by the province of Saskatchewan.- Acquisition, management and validation of gas measurement data for TransGas and SaskEnergy’s large industrial customers to improve system performance.- Developed the Coleville plant liquid analysis process flow diagram and complex mass balance liquid allocation spreadsheet in conjunction with multiple departments; process optimization.- Applied sound engineering principles to investigate, analyze and resolve gas measurement disputes while offering technical support to field staff.

- Project Controller for the OASyS DNA SCADA software upgrade; met corporate strategic and long term plans.- Project development and facilitation of the main and backup site server room RTU upgrades which improved the safety and reliability of TransGas’ SCADA system.- Conducted and presented a detailed design comparison and associated cost estimates between the Acutec Messenger and Honeywell ERX to monitor natural gas expulsion from over-pressurised pipelines as an initiative to protect public and employee safety.- Enhanced and updated multiple compressor station communication topology drawings to mitigate on-call staff troubleshooting time.

- Collaborated with a team to successfully merge data transfer from two flow computers over one PSTN connection; a breakthrough in data transfer for TransGas.- Utilized AutoCAD to update and enhance complicated piping and component displays to improve system control for the Gas Controllers of TransGas.- Identified a deficiency in communication cables for the ControlWave Micro RTU and resolved it by soldering and assembling the required quantity.- Developed a TransGas specific configuration procedure for the Bristol Babcock ControlWave Micro RTU to align with process optimization initiatives.

- I completed two work terms here (January - April and September - December)- Contributed to the enhanced application of “World Class Manufacturing” approach with specific focus on professional maintenance which resulted in the Company receiving a bronze medal in the 2012 external audit, making it the top New Holland plant in all of North America.- Streamlined maintenance procedures and schedules, as well as implemented design enhancements to reduce the annual cost of a plasma torching machine by 40.83%.- Facilitation of multiple cross-functional teams to develop machine specific documentation including ledgers and standard maintenance procedures as preventative maintenance techniques. - Provided trend analysis of machine breakdowns due to design weaknesses in two major areas of the plant and implemented innovative solutions to rectify or at least reduce the frequency.

- Worked in the Roadways Preservation division of the Public Works Department to complete my first co-operative education work term- Conducted infrastructure assessments of streets, alleys and sidewalks with the aid of a number of measuring instruments as part of an asset management team- Tabulated the collected data from infrastructure assessments into a Microsoft Access database. This information was later used to Pareto the infrastructure deficiencies within Regina based on severity.- Provided concrete evidence for the asset management team to recommend budget allocation for repairs based on: traffic flow and volume, current condition of the road/sidewalk and cost of repair
